Mushroom Brucetta

We made this meal, get this, at Memorial Day. Yes, that's how long it's been since I've downloaded photos from my camera and blogged. WOWSA!

We had some wonderful fresh herb crusty bread from La Salle Bakery in Providence that I sliced up and grilled with a little olive oil on it. I topped the slices of bread with fresh tomatoes from the farmer's market, lightly grilled portabella mushrooms that were marinaded in oil, garlic, salt, pepper and balsamic, and some fresh mozzarella cheese.

DELISH! Great light summer meal!
